Shaq's Injury

The Big Shamrock isn't back quite yet.

With Kendrick Perkins gone via trade, Shaquille O'Neal is Boston's biggest and best center.  For a team that was destroyed on the glass in game seven of last year's NBA Finals, the value of having a big, strong center is, well, big.  The Diesel can't dominate like he used to, but his ability to simply take up space and occupy opposing frontcourt players will be crucial to Boston's title hopes.

I'll be doing a playoff preview in the near future, and I'll highlight O'Neal's value to Boston, keying in on exactly why O'Neal completes the team.
